Aneesh Baburaj

I am a graduate student and NASA FINESST fellow working with Prof. Quinn Konopacky at the University of California, San Diego. My research interests focus on the atmospheric characterization of directly imaged host stars and the abundance of certain elements (aka formation tracers) in the companion relative to the host star to figure out planet formation pathways. I would also like to apply these formation tracers to companions discovered using other methods (transit, radial velocity, etc) in order to enable exoplanet population studies at an even larger scale.
